Hong Kong Green Building Professional Delegation Visit to Thailand

^ Participants could choose to make hotel reservations through us, or to arrange accommodation on their own.

1) The standard participation fees include 1) the comprehensive tour arrangement for the 3-day trip, 2) 2 meals (1 lunch and 1 dinner), 3) in-town transportation in Bangkok, and 4) participation fee for the business symposium cum luncheon.

2) Recommended Hotel Accommodation: Conrad Bangkok (Address: All Seasons Place, 87/3 Wireless Road, Bangkok 10330, Thailand)

3) Reservations at Conrad Bangkok will be made for participants who wish to reserve accommodation through us. Reference single occupancy room rate per person per night is HK$1,100. ^#Participants may choose to reserve either 1 night or 2 nights of hotel accommodation during the programme, based on their travel schedule. Please indicate the preference and check-in & out dates upon registration to ensure seamless arrangements.

4) Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation between Hong Kong and Bangkok.

6) All other expenses for the visit, such as travel insurance and individual meal arrangements, etc., are borne by each participating member.

• Business symposium-cum-luncheon co-host with HKETO in Bangkok
  The business symposium cum luncheon aims at enhancing exchange of professional knowledge in sustainable built environment between Hong Kong and Thailand stakeholders.  The event will feature seminars, interactive discussions, and a networking luncheon to facilitate collaborations with key stakeholders from Thailand government agencies, real estate consultancy, finance and academic institutions.

• Site visit with guide to selected green building projects

• Meeting with leading local financial institution(s) on green financing

  BEAM Plus is part of the Thailand taxonomy for construction and real estate, serving as an assessment and recognition framework for environmentally sustainable buildings.  Through direct engagement and dialogue with banks in Thailand take place regarding technical requirement that would enable participants to understand how to secure a green financing instrument for funding low-carbon infrastructure building.
  

• Meeting with city administration agencies on green building service policies
  
  Hong Kong professionals and green building industry representatives can benefit from further  business opportunities through bilateral discussions with Bangkok's city administration and utility  companies, leveraging several key areas of Bangkok and Hong Kong's sustainable development  policy incentives.
