Title: Technical Advisor (Part time for 6 months) - Business & System Development
Responsibilities:

· Provide technical guidance on aligning the BEAM Plus Manual standards with design, construction and operation practices commonly used in Mainland China;

· Advise the in-house technical team on the typical design and construction processes followed in Mainland China;

· Advise on the know-how to align the BEAM Plus assessment processes procedures with the prevailing construction building project development practices in Mainland China;

· Recommend the optimal format of supporting document for BEAM Plus assessments to accommodate the industry practice in Mainland China;

· Review the practicality of updated assessment framework and credit criteria to ensure that it aligns with the design, construction and operation practices in Mainland China;

· Advise on the best sustainability, carbon neutrality, and wellness design and construction criteria that could enhance the adaptability of BEAM Plus assessments in Mainland China;

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Business & System Development.

Requirements:

· Degree holder in Architecture / Building / Engineering / Construction / Environmental / Planning / Surveying or related disciplines;

· Professional membership in Architectural / Engineering / Construction / Environmental / Planning / Surveying in Mainland China and Hong Kong;

· Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience, in which 3 years of experience at managerial position;

· Possesses a track record of managing projects in Mainland China that focus on sustainability, carbon neutrality, and wellness. These projects should have been awarded with internationally recognised green building certifications (preferably China Green Building Label Scheme) within the past 5 years;

· Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese.

Title: Senior Technical Executive – Development & Technical Secretariat
Responsibilities:

· Assist in the development and revision of BEAM Plus and other technical manuals/ guidebooks;

· Provide technical support to Committees and Task Forces;

· Project management and liaisons with internal/ external parties;

· Conduct desktop research and literature review on assigned topics;

· Compile statistics and interpret data analysis results and draw inferences and conclusions;

· Identify sources of funding, assist in the preparation of research proposals and funding applications;

· Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Built Environment/ Architecture/ BS Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Sustainability or related discipline;

· Minimum 7 years’ experience in green/ sustainability research or consultancy. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Technical Executive;

· Recognised green building professional qualification, e.g. BEAM Pro, LEED AP, WELL AP, etc. would be an advantage;

· Strong research & analytical skills and strategic thinking;

· Excellent presentation skills and ability to research report writings;

· A good team player with work ethics, especially regarding integrity and confidentiality;

· Self-driven, well-organised, good analytical power, attention to details, strong coordinating ability with good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact skilfully with internal and external stakeholders;

· Ability to handle multitasks and prioritise schedules, capacity to work under pressure with tight deadline;

· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;

· Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage.
