BEAM | Training

To enrol in the Training and Examination, you must fulfil one of the following requirements:

A diploma or above, in a subject related to the built environment

At least 5 years’ work experience in:

a) The construction/real estate sector (planning, design, construction, testing and commissioning, operations, maintenance, facility management, product supplies or interior design); OR

b) Sectors related to BEAM Plus specialist tools, such as Existing Schools (ES), Food and Beverage (F&B), Data Centres (DC); OR

c) Roles involving sustainability / ESG responsibilities.

Training and Examination Fee

Only online registration via the Online Training Portal is accepted. Please refer to the Instruction for Registration.

You must provide the following documents for registration, otherwise the application may NOT be entertained.

1) Curriculum Vitae

2) Certificate(s) of Education

3) Certificate(s) of Professional Institute (if any)

4) Proof of Supporting Organisation (if any)

BSL, upon receipt of your application, will send an acknowledge of receipt by email within 7 business days.

Member of BEAM Society Limited Associate / Ordinary membership from 1 April 2015 onwards	Special Offer - 50% off of the original fee (till 31 Dec 2026) HK$1,000~~(HK$2,000)~~
Member of HKGBC Patron/ Institutional/ Associate membership
Member of Supporting Organisation	HK$1,800 for training and examination
Others	HK$2,000 for training and examination

Applicants who are yet to become BSL members are strongly encouraged to apply for BSL membership so as to benefit from the concessionary rate on the training fee.

Training Outline

The half-day video training covers the core concept under BEAM Plus Assessment Tools, namely BEAM Plus New Buildings, BEAM Plus Existing Buildings, BEAM Plus Interiors, BEAM Plus Neighbourhood, BEAM Plus New Data Centres, BEAM Plus Existing Data Centres and BEAM Plus Existing Schools.
