Ir Dr CHAN is a Chartered Engineer in HK and UK. He is also a Fellow Member of HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE & HKAEE. He is recognised by the qualifications of LEED AP from USGBC, CEM & CBCP from USAEE, BEAM Pro from HKGBC, REA from EMSD of HKSAR and Certified ESG Planner.

Ir Dr CHAN was the Nominated Director of HKGBC (2014-19)(by BEC), Nominated Director of BSL (2014-26)(by HKFEMC), Vice President of the HKFEMC (2005-07), President of ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter (2008-09), President of HKAEE (2014-18), Chairman of the CIBSE Hong Kong Region (2019-20) and Environmental Division of the HKIE (2024-25).  Ir Dr CHAN used to be the Committee Member of CWRB and E&S of Construction Industry Council.  He is now the Advisor of E&S of CIC, ACRA & HKAEE and Chair of Marketing Committee of BSL.

Over the past 30 years, Ir Dr CHAN has been working at various senior positions and has extensive practical and management experience in the building and construction industry specialising in E&M engineering, energy management, green buildings and sustainability.
