Jasmine is an Environmental Data Scientist at CIBSE, based in London, where she leads the development of weather files for the United Kingdom and CIBSE non-UK regions. One of the key projects she is currently leading is the development of Hong Kong Weather Files. The project aims to create a CIBSE quality assured set of unprojected and future-projected weather datasets, including Test Reference Year (TRY) and Design Summer Year (DSY) weather files, to support energy modelling and heat-risk assessments. By providing climate data representing both current and future conditions, the project will help designers better understand and assess climate risks, enabling them to future-proof buildings against the impacts of climate change.
