The Introduction of Simplified Chinese Version of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings (Global Version) Version 1.0

BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is pleased to announce the official publication of the Simplified Chinese version of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings (Global Version) Version 1.0.

In view of the increasing emphasis on sustainable development in the Greater Bay Area and to echo the Hong Kong Government policy initiatives in increasing collaboration with Mainland and Macao on various environmental issues, BSL has initiated the Chinese translation of the BEAM Plus Assessment Tools.

Following the introduction of Chinese version of BEAM Plus New Buildings (NB) v2.0 (2021 Edition), BEAM Plus New Data Centres (NDC) v1.0 and BEAM Plus Existing Data Centres (EDC) v1.0, the Simplified Chinese version of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings (Global Version) v1.0 is now available. To avoid any disputes which may arise from the inconsistency or ambiguity between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail in case of conflict in interpretation between the English and Chinese version.
