The first-ever green building forum focusing on future-proofing green developments in the Greater Bay Area will take place in Qianhai, Shenzhen this November! Guided by the Authority of Qianhai and jointly organised by the BEAM Society, Hong Kong Green Building Council and Shenzhen Green Building Association, the forum will explore innovative standards and policies, cutting-edge technologies and pioneering sustainable financing solutions to accelerate green building progress in the Greater Bay Area. Conference Highlights

Morning Session

During the morning session, the speakers will discuss green building standards, financing support for green building development and the growth of the green industry in the Greater Bay Area. They will examine how the BEAM Plus assessment tools can enhance the environmental performance of buildings in the region, along with the policy measures and financial incentives available to promote a more sustainable built environment. Attendees will gain insights into the collaborative initiatives undertaken by various green building associations in the Greater Bay Area to advance standardisation and decarbonisation.

Afternoon Session

In the afternoon session, the speakers will highlight best practices in green building development within the Greater Bay Area. They will discuss the use of big data in this field, strategies for creating greener campuses and the advancement of green materials and products. The session will explore various sustainable practices that complement green building efforts. Attendees will gain insights into current initiatives in green design and construction, which are aimed at fostering a more sustainable built environment in the Greater Bay Area.
