The Soft Launch of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 3.0 (Beta 0)

BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is pleased to announce the soft launch of BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 3.0 (Beta 0).

The practices and technologies adopted in the green building industry are continuously evolving. To cope with the market needs and diverse aspirations of the industry practitioners, it is time to revamp BEAM Plus Existing Buildings to an upgraded version (EB v3.0).

The new version – EB v3.0 aims to be more practical and flexible with simplification of submittals and enhancements to echo the target of carbon neutrality by 2050. It is also designed to address the rising global trends of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), green finance and climate risk, etc. by facilitating applicants to attain different green certifications.

The beta version is released for the pilot assessment which will be further updated to incorporate input/ findings from the pilot testing.

Besides pilot testing, BSL would like to solicit views of stakeholders by publicising the BEAM Plus Existing Buildings v3.0 (Beta 0) in advance of its formal launch. Your valuable input is instrumental in perfecting the tool for more effective advancement of green environment and the well-being of our society.

Please note that this beta version is a draft document for consultation purpose and should not be treated as the final version or relied upon as the tool in preparing your submission for assessment.
