Introduction
Discover the ecological wonders of Mai Po Nature Reserve, home to 7 out of 8 native mangrove species found in Hong Kong. This event offers an unforgettable journey through diverse wetland habitats, including gei wai, fishponds, mangroves, reedbeds, and freshwater marshes.
Led by an experienced guide, participants will walk through the largest mangrove stand in Hong Kong through a floating boardwalk. Explore from the Core Zone of the Mai Po Inner Deep Bay Ramsar Site to a bird hide on the mangrove's edge, and witness the incredible biodiversity thriving within the mudflats.

Terms & Conditions
1. Registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
2. BSL reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. insufficient enrolment.
3. The event will be cancelled when typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black storm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the event.
4. WWF will arrange your group access under ‘Mai Po Marshes Entry Permit’ issued by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the restricted area permit for access to the boardwalk. Please bring along your ID card or passport for registration.
