Introduction
Buildings Department has recently promulgated the Performance-based GFA Concession Mechanism where development proposals will have to achieve a specific rating under the BEAM Plus in order to be eligible for GFA Concession. The new mechanism, specific standards and submission requirements, together with the associated revisions of the Practice Notes for Authorized Persons, Registered Structural Engineers and Registered Geotechnical Engineers (PNAP) APP-151, PNAP APP-19 and Appendices A & D in PNAP APP-152 will be introduced in the briefing session..
