Instructor Profile: Derek Ip is a sustainable and impact investing professional with extensive experience in ESG strategy and climate finance. He has worked at leading institutions including UBS Asset Management, BMO Global Asset Management, S&P Global, the City of London Corporation, bringing global experience across Europe and Asia. His contributions to the industry have been acknowledged through recognition on the University of Edinburgh’s Climate 75 list and involvement in the World Economic Forum’s Responsible AI Playbook for Investors. Derek holds an MSc in Climate Change Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder.
