BEAM Society Limited Supports Hong Kong Green Building Week 2024

Co-organised by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), the Hong Kong Green Building Week (HKGBW) 2024 will officially take place from 21 Sept to 29 Sept 2024, with the theme of “Move Forward with Green Building. Next Station: Carbon Neutrality.” The objective of this campaign is to raise public awareness on green building development and sustainable lifestyle, encouraging everyone to strive to achieve carbon neutrality together.

As the main programme of HKGBW 2024, the Biz-Green Dress Day will be held on 5 Sept which aims to engage business communities to adopt a greener lifestyle in workplaces and explore how they can utilise the green building features.

Office workers are encouraged to follow the Biz-Green dress code below by dressing light yet presentable in order to save energy through minimising air conditioning consumption in the office.

Biz-Green dress code guidelines:
• No tie, and open necked shirt
• Wear outfits made from thinner and more breathable fabrics
• Fewer layers
• Professional yet stylish
