Introduction
Join us for an engaging talk on how emerging technologies are revolutionizing our understanding of underwater habitats. Discover innovations such as remote sensing, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and high-resolution imaging that enable unprecedented mapping and monitoring of marine ecosystems. These tools provide crucial data on biodiversity and environmental conditions, enhancing our conservation strategies.
By integrating sonar, satellite imagery, and machine learning, scientists create detailed maps that reveal complex marine interactions, informing policy decisions and identifying critical habitats. 2. BSL reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. insufficient enrolment.
3. The event will be cancelled when typhoon signal no. 1 or above, or amber storm warning is hoisted 3 hours before the event.
