BEAM Plus Certification Ceremony 2019
 
Co-organised by BEAM Society Limited (BSL) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), BEAM Plus Certification Ceremony 2019 concluded with great success at B P International on 5 December 2019. Under the witness of Officiating Guests, Mr WONG Kam-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment and Mr LIU Chun-san, JP, Under Secretary for Development and over 200 industry professionals and experts, around 100 project teams have achieved BEAM Plus certifications this year.
 
   
   
BEAM Plus New Buildings (NB) v2.0 Upgrade Training Course for BEAM Pro
 
BEAM Plus New Buildings v2.0 – Upgrade Training Course is now available on Online Training Portal till 31 October 2021. BEAM Pro are strongly advised to complete the Training so as to attain their BEAM Pro (NB) credential from v1.2 to v2.0.

Promotional Talk on BEAM Plus NBv2.0 at Architectural Services Department

Ir CS HO, General Manager of BSL gave an introductory talk on BEAM Plus NBv2.0 at Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) on 2 October 2019. Over 50 practitioners attended the talk.

Eco Expo Asia 2019

As the supporting organisation, BSL exhibited at Eco Expo Asia 2019, organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Messe Frankfurt, from 30 October to 2 November 2019 at Asia World-Expo.

BEAM Plus NBv2.0 - Upgrade Training Course for BEAM Pro was held at Conference Hall, HKPC. The gradings, credits, features and project submission skills of BEAM Plus NBv2.0 were introduced. Over 450 practitioners attended the live course.

Ir Emily WONG, the Manager (Project Assessment) of BSL talked about the credit objectives, requirements and distinguished the required submittals and documentations for submission with case sharing. Mr MK LEUNG, Ms Yvonne IEONG, Ir Alvin LO, Mr Benny AU and Ir C F LEUNG, the respective Expert Panel Chairs from Site Aspects (SA), Materials Aspects (MA), Energy Use (EU), Water Use (WU) and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and Mr Alan NG, the Manager (Technical Services) joined the panel discussion session and shared some observations, tips and suggestions of project submission.
