
As an electrical engineer and practitioner in utility operations and customer services for a long time, Raymond has been actively involved in the improvement of green building environment. Given that 90% of electricity generated in HK is consumed in buildings, the use of electricity is pivotal in lowering the carbon footprint of the city. Raymond has served the community in working out a number of programmes driving for building energy efficiency, conservation and the use of renewable energy sources. These initiatives include designing and managing the Smart Power Building Fund, feed-in tariff and renewable energy certificate regimes, and other programmes promoting smarter use of energy in both residential and non-residential sectors. In 2019-2020, Raymond became a member of the Steering Committee of developing the green data centres practice guide V1.0 and BEAM Plus data centres V1.0 (BETA0), which were successfully launched in March 2020.

Dr Benny Chow is the Director of Sustainability at Aedas, focusing on the green buildings and sustainable development, an award winning sustainable design expert with worldwide project experience. Dr. Chow is now appointed as the Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Industry Standards and Practices Committee (ISPC), and GB Faculty of the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), co-opt members of the Committee on Environment and the Committee on BIM in Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Chairman of the Sustainability Committee of the ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter. Dr. Chow brings with him more than 22 years of experience in Sustainable Design and involved in more than 400 projects located in more than 40 cities.
Dr. Chow is specializing in Green-BIM, building physics computer modeling and analysis, urban microclimate study, façade solar heat gain calculations, global daylight illumination simulation, performance-based building energy use and efficiency modeling, and air ventilation assessment using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and the design of healthcare facility to the prevention of airborne infectious disease.
Prof. Chow was appointed as an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Hong Kong (HKU), Adjunct Associate Professor in the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and is currently the Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Medicine at CUHK.

Sr Nelson Ho is an experienced Facility Manager with Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Project management Surveyor status, possessed over 25 years' experience in Projects and Facilities Management. He served in various renowned developers, major consulting firms and public organisations in Hong Kong. Sr Ho is active in the activities of the learned societies. He is the founding fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management and was the President in year 2009-2010. He also founded the Hong Kong Chapter of the building Smart International as the Founding Chairman in 2012 focusing on promotion of open protocol and application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Hong Kong.
Mr. Ho Siu Leung, joined the Group on 1 August 2020 as a Deputy Managing Director of City Services Group and is responsible for the overall strategic planning, business development and management operation.
Mr. Ho graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Project Management Surveyor. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and possesses over 30 years of experience in the project and facility management industry. He is appointed as a founding director and former president of Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management. Also, he is a green building expert and appointed as a member Green Building Faculty of Hong Kong Green Building Council, and a nominated director of the BEAM Society Limited.
Mr. Ho contributes much of his time to public service. He is currently a member (2012-2020) of the Appeal Tribunal Panel (Building) of the Development Bureau and a Task Force Member (since 2012) of the Task Force on Energy Management System (EnMS) Certification of the Hong Kong Accreditation Service, Innovation and Technology Commission. Also, he was a member (2011-2017) of the Panel of Advisors on Building Management Disputes, Home Affairs Department.

Ar Yvonne IEONG is the founding Director of Y.I. & Associates Ltd. She is a registered Architect in Hong Kong and Macau, BEAM Pro & BEAM Faculty, and also an experienced Interior Designer. She dedicates to carrying out sustainable initiatives through her projects. Her green offices interior design for HKGBC Headquarter in 2011 and CC Wu Headquarters 2016 had gained several green Awards in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Yvonne had served as nominated Committee Member of Hong Kong Environmental Campaign Committee under EPD of HKSAR (2012-2018), member of China Green Building Council (2012 to present); Co-opted member of Hong Kong Professional Green Building Council (PGBC)(2008-2019), Council Member of HKIA (2015-2016). She is also the Director of Hong Kong Countryside Foundation.
She was the Director of HKGBC (2014-2015), and had participated the steering work for BEAM Plus EB Revamp, BEAM Plus Interiors v.1; BEAM Affiliate Roll out, HK Green School Guideline and Green School Competitions, Co-opted member of the Green Labelling Committee in HKGBC (2012-2018), Task Force member of Urban Micro Climate, Better Place for People in Policy and Research Department of HKGBC, member of G-Pass Steering Committee in Industrial Standard Department of HKGBC.
Currently, she is the Director of BSL (2016-present), Panel Chair of Materials Aspects of Technical Review Committee, Member of Marketing Committee, Professional Development Committee and Automation Taskforce (Jan 2015–May 2020) in BSL.

After graduating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic, Raymond’s career has been related to the marketing and sales of electrical and mechanical engineering products to the Hong Kong, Macau and the China market. His initial roles were on the application of technical skills in the design, installation, testing, commissioning and the maintenance of electrical and mechanical plants and equipment. Subsequently he had been involved more heavily on the management of business units within a large local engineering firm. On top of the day to day running of these business units in delivering financial as well as other results as required by the shareholders, his roles had included higher level tasks of development of new businesses both product-wise as well as geographically particularly in China.
In equipping himself for his managerial tasks, Raymond had acquired a Diploma in Management Studies in the Hong Kong Polytechnic and attended the Executive Management Programme in Ashridge, UK.
Currently, Raymond is running his own company which provides total solution on high quality LED lighting.

Ir Franky W. L. Shum received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brighton (U.K.) in 2000. He further received his Master degree in Indoor Air Quality from the University of Brighton (U.K.) and Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester (U.K.) in 2001 and 2015 respectively.
Ir. Shum is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist in Hong Kong and the UK. He is also a Member of HKIE, IMechE and CIBSE. Ir. Shum is recognised by the qualifications of RPE from Engineer Registration Board, BEAM Pro from HKGBC and REA from EmSD of HKSAR.
Over the past 15 years, Ir Shum has been working as client, consultant or contractor in the Hong Kong and China regions. Now, he is the Associate Director of Mott MacDonald Limited.

Ir. Barry Sin is a Registered Professional Engineer. He is currently the Vice-President and Chairman of Building Committee of the Hong Kong Construction Association. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the construction industry in Hong Kong, Macau and UAE.

Mr. Martin Wan is the Director of Engineering of Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong, which is under the IHG Hotel Group - the largest world-wide hotel group in terms of the number of rooms. He is responsible for the engineering operations and maintenance of physical plants and facilities in his hotel, ensuring that they work effectively and efficiently according to IHG Hotel Group policies and local government requirements. Martin is also taking the lead in driving IHG Hotel Group Green Initiatives within the 8 nos. of Hong Kong / Macau cluster hotels and has been awarded the first lot of Green Globe Benchmarking in the Greater China in Year 2007.
He is qualified as the Certified Engineering Operations Executive by American Hotel and Lodging Association since Year 2003 by his professional knowledge and experience. Before he joined Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong, Martin obtained extensive working experience in Hong Kong Housing Department, Gammon Construction Limited, PCR M&E Consultant Pte. Ltd, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, The Royal Garden and Chai Wan IVE of VTC.
He became the EMSD Taskforce Member at the capacity of the Convenor of Hong Kong Hotels Association Engineers Committee, for the reviewing and formulating the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance and the Building Energy Codes. He was also one of the hotel engineer representatives for The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners to liaise with various government departments during the consultation process of technical authorities’ requirements.

Ir Wommy Wong is a professional engineer. He has over 18 years solid experience in building services design, installation and maintenance including building operation and facilities management. Ir Wong is currently one of the section head under facilities management in Liu Chong Hing Property Management and Agency Limited who is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance on building systems and facilities for its group properties (Grade A office buildings, shopping arcades, residential buildings) in Hong Kong. Moreover, he is the Vice President of BSOMES and actively contributing to the society.
